One of the most enjoyable parts of this business is that we get really invested in our client’s success. Even if we play the smallest of roles, when things are good for our clients, we feel good, but when things are great, we get really excited and want to share their news.
About two weeks ago, TextPride, a young technology company who creates branded emoji (icons for the layman) for use in text messaging, participated in a “Tap the Future” contest. The event in Chicago, was sponsored by Miller Lite and showcased some great innovative firms. For those who are familiar with the program, it was like a version of ABC’s hit TV show “Shark Tank” complete with one of the shows stars, Daymond John.
At the end of the evening, TextPride won the contest, received a $20,000 prize and now has a chance at the national finals. Check out the Chicago Tribune with more details. They’ve also received some great national press in the last week.
We’ve been privileged to work with them on their website and other efforts. Congratulations to Evan Wray and Sean O’Brien! We hope to share more client success stories in the future. Stay tuned.
