During the final months of the year, Be FREE Dayton, was selected as the project of choice for the C-3 Cares initiative. The initiative, which began in 2013, will occur annually, and aims to help non-profit organizations with marketing services they can seldom afford.
Be FREE Dayton is a non-profit organization that is located right here in Dayton, OH. Their mission is to abolish and prevent sex trafficking in the Dayton and Miami Valley area. BE FREE has created unique programs and activities for volunteers to recognize and prevent the stages of domestic sex trafficking.
Their previous website was inadequate and outdated, making the site insufficient for their visitors and potential volunteers. To combat these problems, we implemented a brand new web design featuring parallax scrolling, integrated a content management system for efficient editing, and developed a series of custom graphics and modules to be more user-friendly and aesthetically pleasing. The site is also responsive, built on the 996 grid, and features the SlickNav to improve its performance on mobile devices.
It was a pleasure working with Elizabeth Van Dine and Tonya Folks from BE FREE Dayton. We wish them continued growth and success of their valuable organization.
