Introducing the 2018 C-3 Cares Recipient: Greene County Road to Recovery

Five years ago, we began an initiative called C-3 Cares. The idea was simple: to support charitable organizations in the Dayton region and the people who make the Miami Valley a better place to live, work, and play. Since 2013, we’ve had the honor of working with some truly selfless and incredible people; folks who toil every day to make a real difference in our community. It’s a pleasure to continue this great tradition of giving back to those who give so much.

We’re pleased to announce our 2018 C-3 Cares recipient: Greene County Road to Recovery.

Comprised of treatment agencies in Greene County focused on strengthening the recovery community, Greene County Road to Recovery strives to empower people in early recovery so they can focus on continued success. Their goal is to build a strong support system for those who become overwhelmed with barriers commonly faced in early recovery and help more people overcome addiction and behavioral health issues.

Considering the ongoing opioid crisis and challenges facing those struggling with addiction every day in the Miami Valley, we couldn’t be more excited to work with a group leading the charge to improve recovery options and access to services. We look forward to supporting Greene County Road to Recovery and their mission throughout 2018.

Applications for C-3 Cares will be accepted during the fourth quarter of each year and the selected organization will be chosen and notified the following year. Find out more about C-3 Cares.

How does a nonprofit apply for the 2019 C-3 ? We are a nonprofit located in Xenia that houses women coming out of drug treatment facilities. We have an upcoming fundraiser on November 10th at West Minister Presbyterian Church on Old Springfield Pike from 4-7 to raise funding for house #2. Any information about this project and other resources are much appreciated. Thank you!
